Foundational Beliefs

1. The sole authority for faith and practice over the Church is Jesus Christ, whose will is revealed in the Bible. Therefore, we believe and zealously want others to know that  the Bible is God's written revelation of Himself to humans and is true, authoritative, and sufficient for life and godliness; 

2. God, being absolutely and infinitely perfect, just, kind, wise, and sovereign, is worthy of all honor and obedience; 

3. Every human from fertilization until death is worthy of love and respect as a person created in God's image.

4. At the same time, we are all naturally rebellious, corrupt, and in need of God's forgiveness and supernatural transformation;

5. In His mercy and in order to display the magnificence of His grace, God became a human in Jesus Christ to rescue sinners from is own justice; 

6. Sinners are brought into a right relationship with God by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone;  by trusting in Jesus' obedience, death, and resurrection in our place, believers are set free from sin's penalty and given a new nature so that we progressively become more like Jesus in our hearts and in our lives; 

7. The Church exists to grow in trust, grow in love, and grow disciples, worshiping and working together as His chosen and graciously cherished people; 

8. One day Jesus will return bodily to completely destroy sin, death, and Satan. Then, all of creation will enjoy Him fully.

Essentials of the Faith.

1. One Triune God — Father, Son, Holy Spirit are one God in three Persons. 

2. Who God is — the attributes of God are:

* His Self-Existence (Aseity)

* His Wrath

* His Transcendence 

* His Eternality

* His Omnipotence 

* His Immutability 

* His Omniscience 

* His Wisdom

* His Sovereignty 

* His Faithfulness 

* His Love

3. Man's fall and inherent sinfulness (anthropology).  

4. The eternal state of man after death — Heaven and eternal life for the righteous, Hell and eternal destruction for the unrighteous

5. Christ's virgin birth, sinless life, death on a cross, resurrection, and ascension.

6. Christ's deity

7. Christ's penal substitutionary atonement for sinners.

8. Christ's future bodily return.

9. The inerrancy of Scripture and submission to it as the highest authority for all Christian life and godliness.

10. Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. 

11. All glory and worship given to God alone.
